"5 Stars...just doesn't quite do it!! I can't say enough admirative words to truly convey my deep appreciation for Dr. Lim and his FABULOUS staff (Dana I'm talking to you!!)
I first came to see Dr. Lim as a recommendation from a friend when I had such horrible abdominal pain I could barely stand. I called the office and he actually saw me a few short hours later...unheard of in the South Bay. He diagnosed a small cyst on one of my ovaries, however, after running tests and monitoring its size closely, it turned out to be nothing of concern. Shortly there after I found out I was pregnant and NO ONE was more excited for us then Dr. Lim!! Part of that FAMOUS bedside manner that everyone is raving about, is his genuine care for his patients and excitement for your joy!! He listens to you, allows you all the questions you need, calls PERSONALLY, provides TOP NOTCH care and guidance and allows you to make your OWN decisions when neither you or your baby are at risk...exactly how it should be!!
He delivered our beautiful baby girl naturally even when I had developed preeclampsia, he gave me the option of waiting a few days to let the labor progress naturally...not truly understanding my situation I asked what he would do if this was his daughter and he said that he would recommend inducing...again...I asked him-he gave me options, but he's the expert so I induced that day and boy was he right!! It turns out I did have preeclampsia and my placenta was 30% abrupted, which could have been a whole lot worse 2 days later! I did bleed a lot and was incredibly scared...but he was in total control of the hospital staff and assured me that everything was fine and it was!! I have the most gorgeous healthy baby girl and it's all due to Dr Lim!!
Throughout the pregnancy, each visit, each procedure, each test...he always has a smile on his face and concern in his voice. He is both professional and genuine and there's no way I would ever see anyone else! I once expressed to him how AMAZING I thought he was, I'm pretty sure all the man does is work- Prenatal care, calling patients with results/concern, visiting patients in the hospital, surgeries, delivering babies...ect ect!! What he said to me, I'll never forget...he does it all to see the first look a mother gives her new child, that's how INCREDIBLE he is ladies...he does it ALL purely for the LOVE of FAMILY!"

"Dr Lim was my OBGYN for my first pregnancy this past year, baby was born November 2015. He has good bedside manner and was always helpful in answering any questions throughout my pregnancy. He forewarned me that most mixed babies have c-sections and to think about it, but allowed me to try to deliver naturally for almost 2 hours. During labor, he was constantly checking up on me, even in the middle of the night, he would call the nurse to see how I was doing. He came when it was time to push, but eventually I had to have a c section and that was done very quick. He followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was healing properly. I delivered a healthy baby girl 7.9 lbs all thanks to him."

"I have a new outlook on retirement because of Dr. Lim. He is a compassionate and professional OBGYN. He speaks with you and not at you. He listens to your concerns. He offers his advice and answers or explains any questions. In the hospital, he had good bedside manners and expressed sincere concern about how I felt - not just routine questions. His follow up is diligent...he himself returns phone calls. His recommendations prove that he is knowledgeable. Post hysterectomy, I have a new life: more energy, better balance, no foggy feelings, no urinary leaks and no need for neurological evaluation. "Dr. Lim is a wonderful and thorough OBGYN practitioner. All the women in my family have gone to him and he even was my mom's doctor when she was pregnant with me, 26 years ago. I had really bad abdominal pain that happened unexpectedly last Sunday. Went to the ER thinking it was appendicitis. After being diagnosed with having an ovarian cyst, I went to Dr. Lim the next Monday without an appointment. I was in so much pain, and he was concerned that if I waited too long, there could be possible fertility complications in the future. So he was able to move his schedule around and figure out where would be the best place for me to have surgery based on my insurance and the other surgeons available to assist. In no time at all, he scheduled me for a surgery that afternoon at Little Company of Mary- the SAME day! Almost unheard of!
It was amazing how Dr. Lim went above and beyond.
Side note: I had been going to a different OBGYN in Los Alamitos for 1 year and had my annual check up in February. This Los Alamitos doctor did not even mention, let alone notice that I had an 11 cm cyst- and it's the kind of cyst (dermoid) that has been growing in me since I was little. And only 1.5 months later since that check up, did the pain start. Needless to say, I will only be going to Dr. Lim for all my OBGYN needs!" - Yuki K. Via Yelp.com
